Meet Dr. Emily Danahy

Dr. Danahy completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences at Texas A&M University where she was a member of Gamma Sigma Delta Honor Society and received the Senior Merit Award, the highest recognition given by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Texas A&M College of Dentistry (formally Baylor College of Dentistry). During dental school, she was a member of Odontologic Dental Society and Omicron Kappa Epsilon Honor Society. At graduation, she received the General Dentistry Program Award which represents excellence in all areas of general dentistry. She also participated in dental mission trips to Panama and Jamaica with Global Dental Brigades and Christian Medical and Dental Association. She truly believes in giving to the community and providing healthcare for those with little access. Dr. Danahy likes to remain involved in the dental community as well and is active in many organizations. She is currently studying to earn a Fellowship Award in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Danahy believes in the importance of communication and takes the time her patients need to feel comfortable and understand their treatment. Meet Dr. Miranda Lee

Dr. Miranda Lee grew up in Dallas, Texas, and attended the University of Oklahoma as an undergraduate. During her undergraduate studies, she developed a passion for serving others in the field of dentistry. She began volunteering at dental clinics, became involved in dental organizations, and witnessed firsthand how dentistry has a profound impact on others. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree, Dr. Lee worked as a dental assistant to learn more about the dental field. She then attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where she was on the Dean’s Honor Roll and recognized the importance of delivering high-quality care to her patients. Dr. Miranda Lee and her husband cherish spending time with friends and family. They love traveling, exploring new places, and spending time outside. Alysha – Practice Coordinator

Alysha has been part of our team since 2022 and in the dental field for 14 years, starting out as a dental assistant. During these years, she has taken pride in learning every aspect of a dental office. She is passionate about dentistry because it allows her to see the positive impact of a healthy, beautiful smile on patients’ lives. During her free time Alysha likes to spend time with her husband and their four children, reading, gardening, cooking and traveling to new places.

Marbelly – Front Office Assistant

Marbelly has several years of experience in both the medical and dental fields. She appreciates the opportunity it gives her to meet and communicate with a variety of wonderful people every day. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and traveling around the world.

Mandy – Dental Hygienist

With nearly 20 years of experience, Mandy has a deep-rooted passion for dentistry that began in her childhood, assisting her father in his dental practice. As a dental hygienist, she is committed to connecting with patients and providing exceptional care, helping them achieve their best oral health and confidence. Originally from Colorado, Mandy has called Forney home for the past eight years. She and her husband are proud parents to four sons and actively engage with the Forney community. Outside of work, Mandy enjoys traveling, playing soccer, socializing, and doing anything crafty.

Elizabeth – Dental Hygienist

Elizabeth has been part of our team since 2021. She is from Dallas and currently lives here in Forney. She served four years of active duty in the United States Air Force, completing a seven-month tour to the middle east. She finished up her eight-year enlistment as a dental tech at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth. She became a dental hygienist because she loves seeing how having a bright smile can boost a person’s self-esteem. Elizabeth and her husband have three children and two fur babies. She enjoys spending family time outdoors, attending sports games, and hiking. She likes getting to visit new places in her spare time. Zion and Saguaro National Parks are two of her favorite national parks so far.

Mellany – Dental Hygienist

Mellany graduated from Tarrant County College with her degree in Dental Hygiene in 2014. She enjoys working in dentistry and teaching patients about oral health. She has had the opportunity to treat patients in different areas of the country, and she is glad to be back in Texas. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys playing the piano, trying new recipes, and spending time with her family.

Yajayra – Dental Assistant

Yajayra has been part of our team since 2021. She enjoys making patients feel safe and relaxed during their dental visits. Yajayra has obtained experience in a pediatric office and makes sure our young patients enjoy coming to the dentist. In her free time, Yajayra enjoys going to the dog park, trying new food spots, and attending concerts.

Lisa – Dental Assistant

Lisa has been in the dental field as a dental assistant going on 16 years. During this time, she has had the pleasure of working in pediatrics and general dentistry, gaining lots of experience in understanding what it takes to make young children and adults feel at peace while assisting to make their dental experience a success. Lisa has a passion for dentistry and hopes to continue to put a smile on each patient’s face. Outside the office, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, going for walks, and being a mother to her four children.

Tamia – Dental Assistant

Tamia is a skilled dental assistant with years of experience in general dentistry. She is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident during their visits and takes pride in providing high-quality care. Tamia enjoys getting to know each patient and making sure their experience in the dental chair is as positive as possible. Outside the office, she loves spending time with her family and playing video games.
